Bullock's Balanced Body Tip 1: Liver Detox


Think back, for just a belly-aching moment, at all the sugars you consumed yesterday for Thanksgiving, such as cookies, cakes, alcohol and SO much more.


Your liver is one of the main organs responsible for processing these sugars, as well as hormones, pesticides and other substances that need to be flushed from the system.


If you suffer from mood swings, depression, skin problems such as psoriasis or acne, hormonal imbalances or fatigue on a regular basis, it’s probably time to start focusing your juicing on the liver.


Include liver friendly foods, like vegetables and fruits, in your morning juice. These vegetables would include:

  • Arugula
  • Dandelion greens
  • Milk thistle
  • Beets
  • Broccoli
  • Lemons
  • Kale


Try my favorite detoxifying liver juice:


Dandy-lion Liver Juice



1 handful dandelion greens

1 handful kale

1-cup broccoli florets

1/2 green apple

½ pear

2 celery sticks (It’s also a natural diarrheic and reduces inflammation)

1 lemon

1 beet (can eliminate if you prefer a green drink)

1 knob of ginger (also great to boost the metabolism)



  1. Wash produces
