Happy World Adoption Day!
Today is World Adoption Day and I am in full sentimental mode. We are celebrating our little Remington Rain along with all the love, joy and laughter she has brought to our family. We are so lucky this smart spunky girl chose us as parents from the heavens.
Remi’s life and this single adoption has already sweetly effected the lives of so many others. Imagine what she will become and how many others she will positively impact as she grows from the support of a loving family.
There has been an huge outreach of people interested in adoption since we shared our process. You can watch the 3 part video below.
There are also many other families ready to adopt a child into their home but lacking the finances needed for adoption. In fact, at any moment 73.5 million people in the US are considering adoption, which is four times the number of adoptable children in the entire world!
We adopted Remi at birth but there are many children still waiting for a family to love them. World Adoption Day is a day to celebrate family. World Adoption Day is a day to raise awareness for adoption. World Adoption Day is a day to raise funds to support families in their adoption. Ambassadors from all over the world are organizing events and parties, bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate World Adoption Day. Join us as we create a day to celebrate the power and beauty of family brought together through adoption.
I invite you to post a photo of yourself with your smiley face and include the hashtag: #WorldAdoptionDay. Ask people to share their adoption stories and you will find endless amounts of friends and family who have been impacted by adoption. If you feel moved to donate head to https://adopttogether.org/ for more information and to see the families waiting to adopt.
We love you Remi Rain!
